Midfielder gets run-out for the Republic against Greece

Keith Andrews was the only Bolton Wanderers player on international duty on Wednesday evening, as the midfielder featured in Republic of Ireland’s 1-0 home loss to Greece.

The 32-year-old was introduced as a first half substitute in Dublin, replacing Glenn Whelan in the 34th minute.

Adam Bogdan had been called-up to the Hungary squad but he didn’t feature against Norway as former Crystal Palace man Gabor Kiraly played in goal in their 2-0 defeat.

On Tuesday, Benik Afobe played 45 minutes for England Under-21s in their 2-0 win over Northern Ireland, marking his debut with a second-half penalty.
