Duo enjoy football session with local youngsters

Wanderers stars Alex Baptiste and Liam Feeney went back to school last week as they visited The Gates Primary School in Westhoughton to take part in an after-school football session delivered by Bolton Wanderers Community Trust.

The two players spent their time participating in basic drills which focused on a variety of skills such as ball control and dribbling before demonstrating their own keepy-uppy tricks to the group of children.

The pair rounded off their visit to the school by posing for photographs and signing autographs.

Speaking after attending the session, Alex said, “I always enjoy getting out and about in the community and meeting those who support us every week.

"This is my first community visit since joining Bolton in the summer and all the children we met this afternoon were very enthusiastic and all seemed to be learning a lot from the class.

"Who knows - we may find a future Wanderers star amongst them!”
