Chung-Yong Lee has been named in the Korea Republic squad for this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
Lee is one of nine European-based players to make head coach Myung-Bo Hong’s squad for the tournament in Brazil.
Korea, in Group H, opening their campaign against Russia on June 17 before facing Algeria and Belgium.
This will be the second consecutive World Cup Lee has featured in during his time as a Bolton Wanderers player. Four years ago he represented the Taeguk Warriors in South Africa, scoring goals against Argentina and Uruguay, as Korea reached the round of 16 stage.
