Two Bolton Wanderers players were on opposing sides for their respective loan clubs over the course of Boxing Day.
Keith Andrews and Marvin Sordell, both on respective season-long loans with Brighton and Charlton, met at The Valley.
And it was Charlton who eventually prevailed, winning 3-2, with Andrews playing the full 90 for the Seagulls. Sordell was an unused substitute.
Tom Eaves was another Bolton loanee who also played the full game for his loan side, Shrewsbury. The big striker played 90 minutes in a 1-0 home defeat in League One at the hands of Tranmere Rovers.
