Manager Dougie Freedman is wary of the threat Bristol City pose heading into this weekend’s game.

The Whites travel to Ashton Gate with five npower Championship games remaining before the 2012/13 campaign comes to a close, with both teams still having plenty to play for.

Bristol City, eight points adrift of safety, will be focused on picking up maximum points this weekend against Freedman’s men.

Four days later, Bolton will take to the road once more; this time visiting promotion hopefuls Leicester City and the boss admits his squad need to be ready for any challenge thrown their way.

“The players are looking forward to the games coming up, we have worked very hard for the last three months on the structure of the team and the way we play.

“When players get thrown into the team like Medo Kamara, Danny Butterfield and Marvin Sordell, they perform at the same level and standard as everybody else.

“This next month is about detail and keeping the lads fresh. The players know the structure and what we are all about; therefore the weeks will be very similar for the remainder of the season.

“The players are fit; they are focused on winning games so we have been working on our detail and how we are going to win our remaining games.

“It is a game that Bristol City have to win, they will have a weight off their shoulder so to speak and they have nothing to really lose.

“They are going to take risks and it makes it hard to anticipate what they are going to do so it is not going to be an easy game this weekend.

“It is being able to cope with the different scenarios, Bristol City have nothing to lose but on Tuesday night when we play a team which is alongside us in the table.”
