BWFC Anti-Racism Day

Anti-Racism Day 2

BOLTON WANDERERS Football in the Community team recently held an anti-racism day at Castle Hill Youth Club, Bolton.

Pupils from Moorgate, Castle Hill, St Columbas Primary School and Canon Slade Secondary School attended the afternoon of activities.

The day consisted of several workshops including the design of anti racism t-shirts, breakdown of personality characteristics, pictures with Wanderers' mascot 'Lofty the Lion' and a free-styling workshop with Mr Silky Skills. Children learnt various football skills, including how to balance a ball on their back.

Youngsters were presented with a goody bag to top of their day.

The day was organisaed in conjunction with the Kickz project and Unity in Diversity.

The winner of the t-shirt competition will be notified this week and will receive two match tickets for Wanderers final game of the season against Aston Villa on Sunday 13 May.
