Disability Football Coaching

Posted on: Wed 01 Oct 2008

Bolton Wanderers Football in the Community will be holding weekly disability football coaching sessions for people with mixed disabilities.

The training sessions at Smithills Sports Centre (Smithills High School) and Horwich Leisure Centre are great for beginners to get introduced to football or for children who already play to develop existing skills.

Based on the enjoying football and boosting confidence, the weekly get togethers are lead by qualified coaches who have experience in working with people of all ages and all disabilities.

The sessions for juniors aged five to 16 are held at Smithills Sports Centre every Wednesday evening and are a hour in duration between 5pm and 6pm with a cost of £2 per week.

Those aged 15 and above are welcome to attend training on Friday evenings at Horwich Leisure Centre between 6pm and 7pm. Again the cost is £2 per week.

If you have any questions or would like to know anything more about the coaching, or are planning on attending a session please call (01204) 480601 and ask for Steve.
