JOHAN ELMANDER was given permission to leave Wanderers' mini-tour of Greece after discovering that his wife has gone into labour.

The Swedish international had undergone an intense workout with his colleagues early on Monday morning in readiness for the evening's friendly against Aris.

However, he received a call in the afternoon and arrangements were made so that he could be at his expectant wife's side at the earliest opportunity.
