After scoring the winning goal at Newcastle last weekend, Ricardo Gardner is determined to get a few more in the back of the net during the next 11 games.
The Jamaican has enjoyed better fortune in front of goal this season, with his strike on Sunday following on from goals against Manchester City and Portsmouth earlier in the campaign.
Prior to his crucial goal against the Mancunians back in November, 'Bibi' had gone almost five years without scoring.
He said: "I was delighted to get one more in the bag and hopefully, I can get a couple more before the end of the season."
The Bolton super sub, who took only 69 seconds to score the winning goal at Sunday's match, is looking forward to tonight's game, but was keen to warn his fellow team-mates of the battle they face at the Britannia Stadium
"It will be a tough game, but it is like that every week in the Premier League; you can't look at any game and say this is going to be easy.
"It certainly won't be easy at Stoke as they are fighting for their lives and will want the points, but we will be going with a positive attitude."
Gardner will be up against fellow Jamaican, and close friend Ricardo Fuller. After recovering from a shoulder injury, the Stoke striker returned for the Potters in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. Having played with Fuller before, Gardner seemed eager to keep a close watch.
"He's a very important player for them and a very good player - we will have to keep an eye on him," he said.
Unfazed by his recent success, the Bolton star explained how starting on the subs bench does not dishearten him.
"Every player always wants to be part of the starting 11 but it's up to the manager. You just need to have your mind right and be ready whenever you're called upon.
"To me, it doesn't matter if it's me or Kevin Davies or any other player on the park who scores as long as we get the points.I hope to start the game but, if not, I will be ready when the manager needs me."
If Bolton take the three points tonight, it will be their fourth win in five games, but Gardner has his heart set firmly on even bigger goals.
He added: "We want to finish as high as possible but our main aim right now is to get to 40 points. It was a massive result for us on Sunday and we're looking up the table now rather than behind us."
