90+4 mins - Gary Cahill's shot is cleared off the line amid chaotic scenes inside Chelsea's penalty area. Peter Walton blows for full-time and Chelsea fans cheer with sighs of relief. Five more minutes and maybe Bolton would have completed the sensational comeback. Next up is Portsmouth at Fratton Park, see you then.
90+3 mins - Gretar Steinsson volleys just wide. It's probably Wanderers last chance in this game.
89 mins - Gretar Steinsson makes a last ditch clearance to stop Nicolas Anelka from making it 5-3. Surely this is the best half of football this season. Moments later and Jussi Jaaskelainen denies Malouda with a fine diving save.
86 mins - Bolton continue to press in search of this equalising goal. Ricardo Gardner fires just over the bar after cutting inside on his right foot. The home fans really are biting their nails. 83 mins - Tamir Cohen makes his first appearance of the season, replacing Gavin McCann in the middle of the park.
77 mins - Goal for Bolton! Unbelievable turn of events. Now Wanderers are in with a shout of taking something from this match. Matt Taylor's looping header is just out of the reach of Petr Cech and dips underneath the crossbar. Gary Megson and his backroom staff are off their feet in the dugout as they realise that there still could be something in this game for the Whites.
73 mins - Goal for Bolton! Manic scenes here at Stamford Bridge as the goal glut continues. Chris Basham has reduced Chelsea's lead further, poking the ball into the net from under the cross bar following Kevin Davies header back across goal.
70 mins - Goal for Bolton! Andy O'Brien pulls one back for Bolton, reacting sharply to Cech's first save with a finish from inside the six-yard box. Is the comeback on?
66 mins - Double change for Chelsea as off goes Drogba and Lampard. On comes Anelka and Deco. Bolton make a change too, Chris Basham is on and Johan Elmander is replaced.
63 mins - Goal for Chelsea! Didier Drogba pokes home from close range after Branislav Ivanovic had won a header from Frank Lampard's inswinging corner.
60 mins - Goal for Chelsea! Frank Lampard sends Jussi Jaaskelainen the wrong way from the penalty spot after Gretar Steinsson had been adjudged to have handled inside the box. It was a very very harsh decision from Peter Walton.
51 mins - Panic inside Wanderers box as Kalou side-foots over the bar.
49 mins - Goal for Chelsea! From the resulting free-kick, Didier Drogba puts the hosts 2-0 up, side-footing Frank Lampard's low cross into the roof of the net.
48 mins - Free-kick to Chelsea on the edge of the area after Jlloyd Samuel trips Salomon Kalou.
47 mins - The first attempt of the second half comes through Gavin McCann, who slices his volley high and wide.
46 mins - Andy O'Brien comes on for Danny Shittu, who hasn't managed to shrug off the injury that he picked up in the latter stages of the first half. 41,096 is the confirmed attendance this afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
45+2 mins - After two minutes of injury time, referee Peter Walton blows for half-time.
45+2 mins - Kevin Davies holds his head in his hands as his snap shot is just wide. From here it looked like it would slam into the corner of the net.
45 mins - Half-chance for Elmander, but he doesn't make complete contact and his shot flies harmlessly wide.
42 mins - There's a stoppage in play as Danny Shittu receives treatment for an injury.
40 mins - Goal for Chelsea! Michael Ballack puts Guus Hiddink's men into the lead, converting Salomon Kalou's precise low cross from the right.
36 mins - Ballack shoots inches over the bar from outside the box. Jaaskelainen was rooted to his spot.
35 mins - A few minutes of constant pressure by the home side. Two hacked clearances by Elmander and Muamba temporaily relieve the danger.
31 mins - Ashley Cole's penalty claims fall on deaf ears. 28 mins - Gretar Steinsson positions himself excellently to block Florent Malouda's powerful attempt. Without wanting to curse anything, Wanderers are looking rather solid at the back.
25 mins - Splendid save by Jaaskelainen. Frank Lampard hit a low free-kick and Bolton's keeper flung himself to his left to tip the ball around the post.
21 mins - Again Wanderers launch an attack on Cech's goal. This time Muamba shoots just wide from outside the penalty box.
20 mins - Super football by Bolton. Gardner got the ball on halfway, picked out Kevin Davies who chipped the ball in for Taylor. He glanced a header goalwards and it flicked the roof of the net.
15 mins - Kevin Davies, with a first time volley, fires just wide. Speculative effort but well worth a pot-shot. 14 mins - Florent Malouda tries his luck from 20 yards out but it's off target. Credit must go to Gavin McCann who put the winger under a lot of pressure.
9 mins - Elmander with a sliding finish puts the ball just wide of the post. It's been a lively start at Stamford Bridge.
8 mins - Drogba tries to chip Jaaskelainen from 30 yards, but the Finn retreats to palm the ball to safety.
6 mins - Foul by Didier Drogba in the corner against Matt Taylor. The home supporters don't think it was, but that's no surprise, is it?
2 mins - What a save by Petr Cech. Matt Taylor fired in a powerful free-kick from 35 yards out. Everyone had lined up as though it would be floated into the far post, but Taylor caught everyone by surprise and went for goal.
14.59 - We're almost underway here at the Bridge. It looks like Kevin Davies has won the toss and decided to turn the teams around. Wanderers will nowbe attacking the Shed End in the first half.
14.34 - There's a nice and cosy press box here at Stamford Bridge - we've got leather seats and allsorts! It's a bit low down, perhaps about ten rows up from pitch level, but the television monitors make up for any possible obstructions on the view.
14.33 - Both teams can have absolutely no complaints about the playing conditions this afternoon - the pitch is immaculate condition. I've just spotted Wanderers Head Groundsman Richard Norton at pitch side, so perhaps he has come down here this afternoon to pick up a few hints and tips. Not that he needs to; the Reebok playing surface is also in brilliant condition considering there are just three more home matches remaining.
14.32 - Don't forget that you can listen to live uninterrupted commentary of today's match on Wanderers World. The broadcast has just started so why not join us?
14.31 - Not long to go until kick-off now and the teams have been announced. Unsurprisingly Gary Megson has named a unchanged starting line-up from the victory over Middlesbrough last weekend. Therefore Danny Shittu keeps his place at centre-half following his impressive display against Boro.
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Samuel, Cahill, Shittu, Steinsson, Taylor, Gardner, Muamba, McCann, Davies, Elmander (Subs: Al Habsi, Hunt, Smolarek, Puygrenier, Cohen, Basham, O'Brien)
Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cole, Carvalho, Lampard, Drogba, Mikel, Ballack, Malouda, Kalou, Terry (Subs: Quaresma, Hilario, Deco, Alex, Belletti, Anelka, Mancienne)
14.30 - Hello and welcome to Stamford Bridge, a venue Wanderers have enjoyed some decent results in recent history. Who could forget our famous last-minute victory here in 2003 or Matty Taylor's goal in the final game of last season which capped a remarkable run of results that ensured in Premier League survival.
