Hello and welcome to the Reebok Stadium for Bolton Wanderers final home fixture of the season against Hull City.
Again it's a massive day of football as Wanderers can mathematically guarantee their Premier League status for a ninth successive season with a point against the Tigers. However the Whites are looking to end on a high with a win, and should they attain that result then they could put Hull in real relegation trouble with just one game remaining - a daunting fixture against current Champions Manchester United.
Gretar Steinsson has outlined the desire to finish with a flourish in front of the home fans. He said: "It's a big game, Hull have a lot to play for and we can make or break the relegation battle so it's a really interesting prospect and all eyes will be on the game. We want to go out there and ruin the day for Hull and we have to go out there and play like we did in the second half against Wigan and Sunderland. I'm positive we will get a win out of the game."
The teams have been announced and the big news is that Gary Megson makes two changes from last weekend's home draw against Sunderland. Andy O'Brien is absent through illness with Danny Shittu taking his place after the big defender recovered from a calf injury. The other change is in midfield with Mark Davies preferred to Tamir Cohen.
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Shittu, Samuel, McCann, Muamba, Mark Davies, Taylor, Kevin Davies, Elmander (Subs: Basham, Puygrenier, Riga, Makukula, Cohen, Hunty, Al Habsi)
Hull City: Myhill, Dawson, Turner, Fagan, Barmby, Geovanni, Garcia, Kilbane, Boateng, Ricketts, Manucho (Subs: Doyle, Hughes, Duke, Halmosi, Marney, Cousin, Cooper)
There will also be a minute of silence ahead of kick-off this afternoon as a tribute to George Warburton, a former director and chairman of Bolton Wanderers, who sadly passed away on Friday morning.
Wanderers will also be wearing their new home kit for the 2008/09 campaign for the first time this afternoon.
