Manager Gary Megson has expressed his satisfaction in the way Bolton Wanderers' pre-season schedule is taking shape.
The squad returned to the North West on Saturday after a week of intense training at a site in Austria, and further days of scheduled work at the Bolton Wanderers Eddie Davies Football Academy are set to follow prior to departure for the pre-season tour.
The Whites will be playing Borussia Monchengladbach, Den Bosch and FC Eindhoven during a nine-day stay in Germany and Holland.
Reflecting back on the week in Austria, Manager Gary Megson exclusively told Wanderers World: "It went really well. The purpose of the exercise was to condition the players and get them together for a week.
"We were looked after really well, the people who worked in the hotel couldn't do enough for us. There were great training facilities and the players applied themselves really well.
"The next few days will be more of the same but the workload will be that little bit shorter. The intensity and the pace will increase and there will be more football work because the games are starting to come along now."
