Zat Knight has arrived at Bolton Wanderers and outlined his ambitions of helping the club to be successful.
The central defender completed his transfer from Aston Villa on Saturday morning and admitted that he is excited at the prospect of trying to bring some silverware to the Reebok over the next three years.
Speaking exclusively to Wanderers World, Knight said: "I knew that there had been some rumours and it was something that I was interested in because Bolton Wanderers has been an established Premier League club for a good few years now.
"The style of football that they play suits me - they are a hard team to play against and the Premier League is getting harder. I really believe that the club can achieve something and I know that the manager wants to do that.
"It would be nice to try and get back into Europe because we haven't been there for the last few seasons and to have a good cup run and win some silverware."
The 29-year-old flew in to link-up with the rest of the squad on Friday evening and although his arrival was too late to be considered for the Borussia Monchengladbach friendly, Knight is optimistic that he will play some part in Tuesday's clash against Den Bosch.
He added: "I feel that I'm perhaps ahead of the rest of the lads in terms of games because I have already played 65 and 70 minutes in Aston Villa's matches.

"I'm relishing the prospect of playing and I actually wanted to feature against Monchengladbach on Saturday but having only just flown in the evening before, the manager told Sam Ricketts and myself to rest.
"Hopefully I can play some part in the game against Den Bosch on Tuesday."
There are some familiar faces within the Wanderers squad for Knight, most notably fellow newcomer Sean Davis who also joined the Trotters at the start of the month.
Knight said: "Funnily enough, we are best friends. We used to live together when we were playing for Fulham a few years ago. I know Gaz (Cahill) from our time at Aston Villa, and also a few of the other lads from playing against them.
"I feel at home already and they have all made me feel welcome."
