Matt Looking To Build On United Performance

Posted on: Sun 25 Oct 2009

Wanderers' midfielder Matt Taylor says the players are looking to take the positives from last weekend's match at Old Trafford into today's game against Everton.

"There's no doubt in the last quarter of the second half we had United on the back foot and that was good, but we didn't come away with the points, so we were all disappointed with that. Now it is about kicking on, work out what we did well against United and build on that," said the former Portsmouth winger.

He added: "There are no easy games in the Premier League and today will be difficult. Everton are a good side and we will have to look sharp."

Taylor has been an ever present this season and says he has settled in well to life at the Reebok.

He said: "The main thing is that I am enjoying my football and my family is settled and we are happy. The Manager said that if I performed well I would get my opportunities and I want to keep on working hard and delivering and repay that faith the Manager has in me."
