Wanderers head to Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon in their final fixture of November. Manager Gary Megson spoke with the local and national media on Thursday morning in his pre-match press conference.
Gary, how has it been over the last week since the Blackburn match?
It has been as same as the week was when we beat Everton. The players came into the club for the warm-down and recovery after the game and the coaching staff has looked at the game on the DVD in the cold light of day.
Regarding the game itself, I've suggested already that if we get the first goal then we would have gone on to win. We sat the players down on the Tuesday to watch the clippings and we were dispassionate about it. We weren't that bad and we didn't play much differently from the game when we beat Everton.
The only difference was that we scored against Everton and we didn't against Blackburn, and you must always take your chances in order to get where you want to be. We will take the disappointment and the lessons learned from Sunday on board and look to put one or two things right.
Is one of the key things making sure that we get that first goal and become more clinical?
It's like a golfer - he can knock six foot putts in every time in practice but it's entirely different when you need to do it to win the Open. It's the same in football because in training the finishing is very good and we need to do in a game when there are 20,000 people watching in the Stadium and the real intensity that surrounds Premier League football.
Mental strength is a big part of anything, not just football, and we have got to roll our sleeves up and battle.
What have you made to Fulham this season?
They have been up and down and obviously they got a good result against Blackburn but until the first goal went in, Blackburn were the better team. Franco Di Santo missed a chance after a couple of minutes and it just shows what can happen to another team when they don't score first.
But we know that it is going to be a tough game because of the players that they have got. Yes, they are well organised, but that is the case for every team in the Premier League. Fulham have got this way of playing that suits their players, and at home they are strong without being invincible.
And finally, how is it looking with the injuries?
Tamir should be okay because he has trained for the majority of the week.
We are not too sure with Bibi Gardner because he went over on his ankle against Blackburn and he didn't have his shinpad, sock or boot on at half-time because he was getting treatment. Of course, in the second half we had to take him off because of it, but we think he'll be alright and it's the same with Jlloyd Samuel.
