Hungry Klasnic Looking For Net Gain
Ivan Klasnic is aiming to channel his frustrations on Manchester City after enduring a luckless 90 minutes at Molineux last weekend.
The on-loan striker once again impressed but came across Wolves' goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann on a good day as on countless occasions the American international prevented Klasnic from registering his third goal of the season.
"The ball didn't want to go in the net," said Croatian hitman. "It was one of those days for me. I have them, sometimes I can shoot from wherever I want and it goes in the goal.
"I was encouraged by the second half. I got an assist for Johan, but that's not my job. I score goals."
This afternoon's game against Manchester City marks Jussi Jaaskelainen's 400th league start for Wanderers and Klasnic believes that the Finland stopper's experience and knowhow will be important if Bolton are to run out winners against the men from Eastlands.
"Four hundred matches is a lot - he has a lot of experience," he said. "He will help us get out of this run of form.
"Jussi has been here for more than 10 years and has done a great job. Players in Europe know all about him."
