Chris Evans wants Wanderers to continue the momentum when they face third-placed Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
The Assistant Manager was delighted with the professionalism shown in the 4-0 victory over Lincoln at the weekend and he believes that a repeat showing at the Emirates Stadium will give Bolton every chance of gaining a positive result.
Once again, Evans will take joint control of the game with Head Coach Steve Wigley.
Speaking to the official website, Evans said: "Saturday was a pleasing performance - the players were very focused and to score four goals and keep to a clean sheet meant that our reward was to get in the hat for the next round. A home draw is good, and with the backing of the fans, that gives us a real bonus.
"Now it is important that at the Emirates we focus and take the confidence from the win at the weekend into the game.
"It is never an easy time there. We will be pitting our wits against some of the best players, not only in the Premier League, but the World, so we have to go out there and compete.
"We have a good set of players, and as I have said before, there is a good spirit and a determination amongst us all to do the best we can.
"We pretty much have a full squad to choose from, barring of course the long-term injuries to Sean (Davis) and Joey (O'Brien)."
