OWEN COYLE praised ten-man Wanderers as worthy winners as they recorded a vital victory at West Ham.
Kevin Davies and Jack Wilshere gave the visitors an early two-goal lead as Coyle's men dominated proceedings early on before Alessandro Diamante grabbed a late consolation for the Hammers.
Coyle said: "It was an accomplished performance against a very good football side.
"We came here with a belief today and I felt that we showed it by scoring two goals - and I felt we could have had a couple more. Because of the quality that West Ham have, they came back at us - but we came here to get the three points.
"Our players deserve credit for their performance and their tenacity.
"I think we've been playing well - we showed that last week in the three points we picked up against Wolves.
"It is the first time for over a year that we've had back-to-back wins but we realise that we have to keep that momentum going.
"We've got a lot of hard work ahead of us and we have to continue to pick up valuable points on our travels as well as at home. We've got another tough test ahead of us on Tuesday at Sunderland This is another big game that we have to focus on and we'll go there looking for another performance from our players.
"I thought our fans, once again, were magnificent. They may have been outnumbered but they certainly weren't outsung. You could see what it meant to the players at the end of the match."
