Hello and welcome to a bitterly cold Stadium of Light as Wanderers look to make it three wins on the bounce following the successes at home to Wigan and away West Ham on Saturday.

Owen Coyle has been forced into one change due to Tamir Cohen's one match suspension. Ricardo Gardner is the man who comes into the side to partner Fabrice Muamba in the middle of midfield.

Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander lead the line for the third match in succession.

Steve Bruce has named an unchanged Sunderland starting eleven from their scoreless draw with Fulham in their last outing on February 28.

There has been a late change to the referee for tonight's match with Steve Bennett replacing Alan Wiley.

Sunderland: Gordon, Turner, Ferdinand, Hutton, Malbranque, Campbell, Bent, Mensah, Jones, Cana, Cattermole (Subs: Carson, Bardsley, McCartney, Zenden, Da Silva, Kilgallon, Benjani)
