After sitting out the midweek defeat against Sunderland through suspension, Tamir Cohen is confident that he can help Wanderers return to winning ways should he regain his place in central midfield.
The Israel international was unfortunately sent-off in the victory at Upton Park, but is back available for selection for this Saturday's match against Wigan Athletic.
Up until his 70th minute dismissal, Cohen had put in an impressive performance, highlighted in his contribution when Jack Wilshere doubled Bolton's lead.
"I have only missed the one game, and hopefully it won't be any more," said Cohen. "I have been working hard in training, trying to do my best for the club and hopefully the Gaffer will give me a chance again.
"I felt that I was a bit unlucky with the sending-off last week. The second yellow card was a booking but I tried to pull out of the tackle for the first one. I accepted the referee's decision and have moved on.
"I had only just come back from international duty with Israel, so it was good that I got back into the starting eleven and helped to score the second goal.
"I could have easily have tried to score myself but I saw Jack who was in a better position. There was a West Ham player on the goal-line and I had to think quickly, but I was just happy that he managed to score his first goal for the club.
"It doesn't matter who gets the goals because we are eleven players who play for the same team - we win together and lose together.

"But I thought that last week was a really good performance because it was important that we got a strong result down there. We need to try and repeat that at the Reebok on Saturday because we need to get more points to move up the table.
"I haven't seen the Sunderland game because I didn't travel with the team, but it is one that we have to forget. If we take positives from the Wolves and West Ham performances then we can get another great result on Saturday."
Indeed, there have been plenty of plus points in recent weeks, most notably the form at the Reebok Stadium.
The Whites have taken seven points from their last three home Premier League fixtures against Burnley, Fulham and Wolves, and Cohen has been encouraged with how the team has gone about their business at the Reebok.
"The Reebok is our home and we don't like getting poor results there," added the 26-year-old.
"We have had five unbeaten games there and now we want to make it six, hopefully with a win and not just a draw.
"It's a match that we can win and want to win and everyone at the club knows how important the game is. Nine points out of 12 would be a very good return from this run of games because we were in the bottom three before that."
