Bolton will be looking to complete a Premier League double over Everton when they travel to Merseyside to Saturday afternoon.
But in the Toffees, Wanderers face a side that have been formidable at home in the Premier League since late December.
Hull City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Sunderland, Manchester City and Burnley have all fallen at Goodison Park, with Tottenham and Birmingham registering draws, meaning that the Toffees are unbeaten in their last eight top-flight matches on their own patch.
Since Bolton earned promotion back to Premier League in 2001, they have travelled to Goodison Park on eight previous occasions. They have come away with a win twice, registered one draw and been beaten five times. The most comprehensive result was a 4-0 victory in December 2005.
From that team just two players - Kevin Davies and Jussi Jaaskelainen - are expected to feature on Saturday afternoon. Sam Ricketts is back available for selection following his suspension, while Mark Davies has returned to full training after an ankle injury.
There has been much speculation in the media as to whether Gary Cahill will make his comeback, just six weeks after he was diagnosed with a blood clot. Manager Owen Coyle has refused to 100 percent rule out an appearance from the 24-year-old although he has admitted that the game would probably come 'too soon'.
David Moyes has no new injuries to contend with in his squad, although Marouane Fellaini (ankle) and Philippe Senderos (hip) will definitely miss out.
The Everton boss, who is celebrating eight years in the hot-seat at Goodison Park this week, will have to make one change on the substitutes bench as Landon Donovan has returned to parent club LA Galaxy following the completion of his loan deal.
Louis Saha and Leon Osman, who missed the 2-2 draw against Birmingham, could feature after returning to fitness.
Leighton Baines is expected to take his place at left-back and he says that Everton's recent run at home will stand them in good stead.
Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "There are no easy three points in the Premier League. It is important we approach the Bolton game in the right way.
"We want Goodison to be a fortress and we want people to come to Goodison fearing the worst because we are all so strong."
The referee for the contest is Alan Wiley. The Staffordshire official was due to take control of the recent match against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light but was replaced by Steve Bennett shortly before kick-off.
It is the third time that Wiley has refereed a Wanderers game this season following the home clash against Liverpool in August and the fixture at the Emirates Stadium at the turn of the year.
