Trio Sign Extended Deals

Posted on: Tue 11 May 2010
Bolton Wanderers have taken the option to extend the contracts of Sam Sheridan, Tope Obadeyi and Rob Lainton by a further year.

Sheridan and Lainton have been important members of the reserve side over the course of the last season, helping the team reach the final of the Manchester Senior Cup.

Obadeyi spent the first half of the season on loan at Swindon Town before finishing the campaign with Rochdale where he helped the club earn promotion to League One.

Zoltan Harsanyi, Ricardo Vaz Te, Chris Stokes and Stuart McDonald have been released following the expiry of their contracts.

Gavin McCann's contract has also expired, but manager Owen Coyle has indicated that the midfielder will have the opportunity to earn himself a new deal when he returns to full fitness following ankle surgery.
