Bolton Wanderers Carling Cup Third Round tie against Burnley has been confirmed for Tuesday September 21.

The clash at Turf Moor, which will kick off at 7.45pm, has not been selected for live television coverage.

Wanderers progressed into this stage of the competition after beating Southampton 1-0 last week, while the Clarets secured their passage through with a 3-1 victory away at Morecambe.
