GAVIN McCANN and Heidar Helguson will both see experts over the summer in a bid to get them ready for the start of the new season.

McCann has flown to the USA to have a knee injury assessed by the Colorado based specialist Dr Richard Steadman.

Helguson, who was restricted to just eight games after being beset with ankle and knee problems, is currently in Belgium.
