DURING THE last twelve months Bolton Wanderers have hosted a number of girls football tournaments for both primary and secondary schools.

St Josephs high school were our under 13's local tournament winners and they went on to win the Regional and National Title.

The finals were held at Old Trafford where the team were able to beat Manchester United's team in the final.

We also held a number of tournaments for primary schools, thanks to funding we received to work on a project called 3 Lions.  The 3 Lions Project enabled us to hold free sessions for girls in years 5 and 6.

We were able to work with 23 schools and involve a massive number of girls.
