Wanderers' Hungarian goalkeeper has provided important back-up in the goalkeeping department.
Following Ali-Al Habsi's summer loan move to neighbours Wigan Athletic, Bogdan has been promoted to Jaaskelainen's understudy.
The now second-choice stopper was a regular in the reserves last season, helping the second-string reach the final of the Manchester Senior Cup.
Bogdan also had a short spell on loan at Crewe Alexandra where he sampled first-team football in England for the first time.
In the summer of 2009, he signed a contract which will keep him at the club until July 2011.
