Signed from Farense in 2003, Ricardo Vaz Te is an exciting striker who is looking to make an impact under new boss Owen Coyle.
A succession of injury problems have prevented the Portuguese hitman from fulfilling his true potential over the last couple of seasons.
However, after undergoing surgery in America to repair damaged cartilage in his knee, and then a lengthy rehabilitation progamme, Vaz Te is now eager to make up for lost time.
The Lisbon-born ace served an apprenticeship in the Wanderers Youth Academy, before making his debut in the 2003/2004 season.
Previous managers have mainly used him as an impact player from the bench, but Vaz Te is looking to play a more pivotal role under Coyle.
