The tall, athletic midfielder joined Bolton Wanderers from Birmingham City last summer in a deal worth over £5m and has since established himself as a regular in central midfield.
Muamba has featured in all of the Whites' matches this season in some capacity, but he is still searching for his elusive first goal for the club.
The 21-year-old could be set to enjoy a shorter close-season break than the rest of his colleagues having been named in the England U21 squad for the summer European Championships to be held in Sweden throughout the last two weeks in June.
He has represented England at every youth level from under 16 to 21 and will be hoping that a starring spell with Wanderers will propel him to full honours.
