The long-serving Jamaican international recently completed his eleventh season in a Wanderers jersey.
'Bibi' joined the club in the summer of 1998, arriving from Harbour View in a £1m deal, and has since become a firm fans' favourite and one of the most loyal servants in the club's history.
Gardner now has more than 380 games under his belt and looks certain to clock up quite a few more, having recently signed a contract extension which ties him to the club to the summer of 2011.
He said: "I've enjoyed every moment and I'm looking forward to playing here for the years that I've signed for. The fans have been great to me and helped me settle in when I first came to the club so I have absolutely no complaints. It's always been my dream to play here for so long, although each year I try and set myself a different target and move towards it."
