Man United Res 0 Bolton Res 0 (Bolton won 9-8 on pens)
Wanderers second string got one over on their local rivals Manchester United with a tense 9-8 penalty shoot-out victory in the Manchester Senior Cup.
After neither side had managed to score in 90 minutes worth of action, the game went to an epic shoot-out, with defender Tom Eckersley eventually proving the hero for Bolton by netting the decisive spot-kick.

The result means that Bolton remain third in the group, only three points behind table topping Oldham Athletic with two games in hand.
