ADAM BLAKEMAN'S strike on the hour mark wasn't enough to prevent a young Wanderers from losing to Liverpool at Prenton Park.

Gerardo Bruna had given the hosts the lead befoe Jordy Brouwer extended the hosts' advantage early in the second-half. Midfielder Blakemen pulled one back to give the young Wanderers hope of an equaliser but a late effort Alex Kacaniklic sealed the points for the Reds.
