Reserves: Stockport County 0 Bolton Wanderers 2
Wanderers Reserves qualified for the final of the Manchester Senior Cup with a 2-0 victory away at Stockport County.
Zoltan Harsanyi picked himself up off the turf to notch from the penalty spot just after half-time before Michael O'Halloran sealed the win late on after beating the offside trap and rounding opposition goalkeeper Ian Ormson.
O'Halloran could have notched a brace had he not seen an earlier effort saved by Ormson while Maison McGeechan pulled a shot wide from a promising position.
The club's third choice goalkeeper Adam Bogdan was also in fine form for John Henry's side, making two impressive saves in the opening 45 minutes. The Hungarian firstly repelled Adam Grifin's volley from outside the area before denying Joseph Afusi 10 minutes later.
The second string wrap-up the 2009/10 league campaign when they face Everton next Monday in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North, knowing the nothing other than three points will give them a fighting chance of not finishing bottom of the table.
