Mark Davies moved to Bolton in January, 2009, after the Whites agreed an undisclosed fee with Wolverhampton Wanderers for his services.
The highly-rated midfielder was named Players’ Player of the Year for the 2011/12 season and is contracted to the club until 2015 after signing a contract extension in February 2011.Â
Davies was originally a product of the youth academy at Wolves but rose through the ranks to make his first team debut against Leeds United in August 2005. He went on to make a total of 35 appearances for the Black Country outfit.
He made his first appearance for Wanderers in January 2009, as a second half substitute in the 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park and was subsequently handed his full debut three days later in the 3-2 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
He has made 105 appearances, scoring seven goals, including one in the 2-2 draw with Blackpool in November 2010 which was later named as the club's Goal of the Season.
