Jermaine Beckford joined the club from Leicester City in July 2013 for an undisclosed fee.
The experienced striker originally started out with Chelsea in the Blues’ academy before moving onto Wealdstone where he proved his worth, with Leeds United picking up the youngster in 2006.
It was at Elland Road where Beckford made his mark on the game, averaging a goal almost every two games including a memorable strike against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
The 29-year-old proceeded to enjoy stints with Everton, Leicester City and most recently a loan spell with Huddersfield Town before signing for the Whites.
In his first season at Macron Stadium, Beckford finished the campaign as Bolton's leading goalscorer with nine goals in 35 appearances.
