Having impressed during two separate loan spells with the club during the 2013/14 campaign, Neil Danns signed terms on a permanent one-year deal in July 2014.

After initially joining Wanderers on a three-month loan back in September 2013, the midfielder’s deal was extended in January until the season's end after a successful stint which saw him score four goals in 13 appearances for the Whites.

The 31-year-old ended the season having turned out on 35 occasions for Bolton, finding the back of the net six times.

A seasoned professional having been involved in the game for over a decade, Danns has enjoyed stints with Blackburn Rovers, Colchester United, Birmingham City and Crystal Palace amongst other teams throughout his career.
