Neil Danns signed a one-year contract extension with Bolton Wanderers in January 2015 having impressed during the first half of the 2014/15 season.

The midfielder had signed for the Whites permanently in July 2014 following two successful loan spells with the club during the 2013/14 campaign.

After initially joining Wanderers on a three-month loan back in September 2013, the midfielder’s deal was extended in January until the season's end after a successful stint which saw him score four goals in 13 appearances for the Whites.

The 31-year-old ended the season having turned out on 35 occasions for Bolton, finding the back of the net six times.

A seasoned professional having been involved in the game for over a decade, Danns has enjoyed stints with Blackburn Rovers, Colchester United, Birmingham City and Crystal Palace amongst other teams throughout his career.
