Oscar Threlkeld returned to Bolton Wanderers in April 2016 following a successful loan spell with Plymouth Argyle

A product of the club’s academy, Oscar Threlkeld rose up through the ranks to make his first team bow against Sheffield Wednesday towards the end of the 2013/14 campaign, before being handed his home debut against Birmingham City on the final day of the season.

Capable of playing in midfield or across the back four, he captain the club's Under-21s side on occasions during the 2014/15 season as the young Whites reached the Manchester FA Senior Cup Final, as well as adding a further six Bolton appearances under his belt.

Spending the majority of the 2015/16 campaign at Plymouth Argyle, he thrived for the promotion-chasing Sky Bet League Two side as he made 28 appearances and scored one goal.

Returning to Wanderers in April 2016, Threlkeld will now be looking to replicate that form for the Trotters in the Sky Bet Championship under Interim Manager Jimmy Phillips.
