Media and Communications Contacts
Pre-match press conferences are usually held weekly, on the Thursday before a Saturday match.
Broadcasters and written media will both get a chance to conduct interviews during this session.
Any request to interview any of the players or any member of staff outside of the weekly press conference should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
No member of the media should contact any employee without first contacting the Communications Department.
Members of the playing squad or management will not be available in the 24 hours prior to a match.
Requests for media accreditation to a Bolton Wanderers home match should be submitted via Football DataCo’s i-PBS booking system at least 48 hours before a fixture. Requests by email can no longer be accepted.
The press box at the University of Bolton Stadium has ISDN for visiting clubs as well as local and national BBC radio stations. There is also free WiFi for all press. Further important information is available inside the stadium, once press have collected their passes from Bolton Central at the ticket collection point.
Every member of the media attending a fixture should have ID approved by Football DataCo and produce it on request.
Bolton Wanderers receive a large number of requests for interviews from media students. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all of these. Small numbers of students are sometimes able to attend the club’s pre-match press conferences but there are rarely opportunities for one on one interviews.
