Wanderers Handed Crawley Cup Tie

Owen Coyle will take his team to Broadfield Stadium in the second round of the Capital One Cup

Bolton Wanderers have been handed an away tie against Crawley Town in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

The tie at Broadfield Stadium will be played on the week commencing August 27.

Crawley progressed through to this stage of the competition having beaten Millwall in the previous round on penalty kicks after the tie had finished 2-2 through extra time.

At the same stage last season, Wanderers beat Macclesfield Town 2-1 thanks to goals from Tuncay and Martin Petrov.

Wednesday’s second round draw was made by former Arsenal forward Alan Smith.
