One stand-out memory comes from the 2006/07 season clash at Ewood Park.
With Wanderers a goal to the good thanks to an Ivan Campo header, the final few minutes of the game proved a backs-to-the-wall jobs for Sam Allardyce’s men.
Jussi Jaaskelainen was to prove the hero, with the big Finn twice thwarting the home side from the penalty spot in the final five minutes.
Kevin Nolan was also sent off late on for foul and abusive language.
