Bolton Wanderers are pleased to announce a partnership with Canon Slade Sixth Form, which will see the club deliver the BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport and FA Coaching qualifications.
Qualified Bolton Wanderers tutors and mentors will deliver a combination of practical and theory-based lessons to students over the two-year course.
Philip Coxon, Assistant Head and Director of Sixth Form at Canon Slade said: “We are all extremely excited by this new partnership. We believe the new course will allow us to deliver a broader range of educational opportunities to our students.”
Jack Trainer, Coach, Education and International Soccer School Manager, added: “We pitched the idea to a selection of current students and parents and they were all extremely enthusiastic about the partnership.
“It’s a real positive step forward for both Bolton Wanderers and Canon Slade and we’re all looking forward to what will be the beginning of a long and successful partnership.”
