Players set for lap of thanks

Bolton players to perform lap of thanks after the weekend's game against Blackpool

Following the conclusion of the weekend’s game against Blackpool, the club would like to encourage fans to remain seated inside the Reebok Stadium in order for the players to perform a lap of thanks.

After the final whistle the Bolton players will head down the tunnel, before re-emerging and showing their appreciation for the supporters’ backing throughout the course of the season.

Manager Dougie Freeman said: “It’s important for us to thank the supporters for their excellent backing of the team, both home and away.

“They have really played their part and both the staff and the players have really appreciated it.”

Supporters should be aware that the matchday buses will run at delayed times in order to facilitate for those staying behind.
