BWCT futsal sessions

Recruitment now on for supporters to get involved in an exciting continental version of the game

Bolton Wanderers Community Trust are currently recruiting players for the club’s futsal squads at U16, U17, U18 and open age (18+) level.

A fantastic opportunity for players who enjoy small sided football to develop their skills, futsal is developing at a rapid rate within the UK.

At present, the England national team only play the game at a semi-professional level but there are hopes that this will develop in the coming years with players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi all having played the game during their careers.

Designed to help players of all abilities develop their ball control, movement, team work skills and fitness, there are currently four sessions held per week.

These include:
• Monday evenings from 7pm until 8pm at St. Catherine’s Academy (ages 15-19)
• Monday evenings from 8pm until 9pm at St. Catherine’s Academy (ages 18+)
• Tuesday evenings from 5pm until 7pm at Castle Hill Youth Centre (ages 7-14)
• Thursday evenings from 5pm until 6pm at Bolton College (ages 15-19)

The sessions are open to all levels of ability and there is no pressure to join the club.
