Limited edition book on sale on Monday
On Monday, a limited edition book detailing the construction of the Nat Lofthouse statue will be on sale at Bolton Central.
The book maps out the entire project, from its infancy to unveiling, with use of exclusive photos from sculptor Sean Hedges-Quinn.
Entitled ‘I’ve got the ball now – the Lofthouse statue’, the book is produced and edited by Johnny Miller. It also features a foreword from club owner Eddie Davies, as well as a detailed history of Nat’s career penned by fansite Lion of Vienna writers Mark Yesilevskiy and Matilda Hankinson.
Priced at £9.99, the book will be available for purchase at the weekend’s FanZone, where Sean will be on hand to exclusively sign copies. It will then go on sale at Bolton Central on Monday morning.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Nat Lofthouse memorial fund that will help develop the area surrounding the statue.
