BWSA award for Tim Ream

American defender wins supporters association Player of the Year

Tim Ream has been crowned as the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association (BWSA) Player of the Year.

The American international pipped Neil Danns to the gong, which was presented at the BWSA end of season social held at the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday evening.

“It’s nice obviously to be recognised by the club’s official supporters association,” Ream said after collecting the award.

“It’s a great feeling knowing that they feel I’ve done a good job this season over the 40 or so games that I’ve played.

“I’m not here to strive for individual glory. It’s very humbling, but at the end of the day it’s a squad game and all of the boys on the roster do a job for the team.”

Aside from the Player of the Year award, there was also a special moment for club stalwart Andrew Dean, who was presented with the Dave Higson outstanding service to Bolton Wanderers award.
