Goals for three loanees during the weekend's round of fixtures
It was a successful weekend for three of Wanderers' loanees as Craig Davies, Marvin Sordell and Tom Eaves all got their names on the scoresheet for their respective loan clubs.
Davies, who joined Preston North End on Friday, marked his debut with a goal as the Lilywhites ran out 2-0 winners against Notts County at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.
The frontman, who played 78 minutes of the clash, opened the scoring in the 65th minute before Joe Garner’s penalty kick wrapped up all three points for Simon Grayson’s side.
Elsewhere, Marvin Sordell scored for Charlton Athletic as the Addicks suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium while Tom Eaves grabbed a last minute equaliser to earn Shrewsbury a point against Brentford.
Finally, Keith Andrews played the full 90 minutes as Brighton were defeated 2-0 by Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
