Midfielder joins on loan from Millwall for the remainder of the season
Bolton Wanderers can announce the signing of Liam Trotter from Millwall on loan for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.
The 25-year-old has been handed shirt number 17 and subject to clearance he is eligible to play in Saturday’s league game away at Ipswich Town.
Prior to his current three-and-a-half years with Millwall, during which time he has registered 138 senior appearances scoring 24 goals, he was on the books of home-town side Ipswich.
Whilst with the Suffolk-based club he would register 25 games in a four-year period, as well as a number of loan spells at the likes of Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Millwall.
Trotter will not be eligible to face Millwall when the two sides meet at The New Den on February 15.
