1. Kevin McNaughton was born in Dundee, Scotland on August 28, 1982.
2. The Scot began his career with Aberdeen, joining the club at youth level before breaking into the first team as an 18-year-old.
3. He made his first team bow in a 2-1 victory over St Mirren in August 2000, going on to feature 38 times during his first season as a professional.
4. His efforts for Aberdeen resulted in him being named as PFA Scotland's 2001/02 Young Player of the Year.
5. The defender's early form north of the border earned him his first international cap for Scotland in a 2-1 defeat to Nigeria.
