Charity nominations now open

Club now ready to receive applications from new potential charity partners for the upcoming campaign

Bolton Wanderers are seeking to sign up new charity partners for the 2014/15 season.

Following a successful 2013/14 charity campaign which raised thousands for a number of organisations, Bolton Wanderers are now taking nominations for the upcoming season.

Last year saw the NSPCC nominated as the club’s national charity and Urban Outreach as the local charity of the year with several associate charities, all of whom have benefited from working with the Whites to support campaigns, increase profiles and raise significant sums of money to help make a
difference.

Phil Mason, Club Chaplain and Chair of the Charity Policy Group said, “It has been a great season and we have been delighted to work with a whole variety of charities that make such a difference to people’s lives.”

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the World War I, with priority being given to charities that have any association with the military and support them and their families.

“Throughout the new season, we are planning to mark this significant anniversary with a number of key events,” added Mason. “As a club, we feel it is important to make a positive contribution in this year by supporting charities that are helping those who along with their families are serving their country today”.

Nominations need to be returned by Saturday 28 June 2014, with application forms available HERE while all the details of the club’s charity policy can be found by CLICKING HERE.
