Rob Hall's thumbs up for award-winner Tim Ream

Young winger says American international is a deserved winner of the club's Player of the Year award

Robert Hall believes Tim Ream is a deserved winner of the club’s 2013/14 Player of the Season award.

The American international claimed the annual gong with 39 percent of fans’ vote in an online poll.

And Hall, who in his first full season with the club has often combined with Ream down the left flank, believes his team-mate has been the side’s standout performer this term.

Speaking to bwfc.co.uk, Hall said: “Tim’s been great for us this season. He’s a great lad off the pitch too.

“When I play on the left side of midfield and he is directly behind you, he makes the game easier than it may seem.

“There are a lot of times that he’ll cover for me and effectively do your job for you. Watching and playing with him, you can understand everything that he does.

“He’s got great passing ability from the back and a great work ethic to get up and down the wing.

“I can only learn from someone like him and you can see he’s an international-class player.

“Tim definitely deserves the award, with Dannzy a close second in my opinion.”
