Club to hold minute's silence ahead of Huddersfield match

Fans asked to arrive at their seats early as club pays respects to Roy Hartle

Bolton Wanderers will hold a minute’s silence ahead of the weekend’s game against Huddersfield Town as a mark of respect to Roy Hartle.

Club legend Hartle, who amassed 499 appearances for the club between 1952 and 1966, passed away earlier this month.

And following his funeral the club will now pay a full tribute to Roy ahead of kick off against Huddersfield at Macron Stadium.

Ahead of the minute’s silence supporters are asked to arrive at their seats ahead of kick off early.

Flags outside Macron Stadium will also be lowered to half-mast for the day of the game, whilst Roy will also feature on the front of a special edition matchday programme.
